In November 2009, the client adopted a business standards program to implement business processes across the company in a single ERP system (SAP).
The program’s key objectives were to unify and standardize corporate processes between two divisions of the group of companies, as well as to develop a single business standard for processes and options to change the company’s policies and processes by drawing on global experience and best practices in the metals and mining sector.
In terms of processes and features, the solution included automating and developing a single solution (business standard) for all logistics and production processes, including production planning, quality control and integration with MES systems, equipment maintenance and repair processes, finance and control.
